![]() We took pictures and showed the front desk. If it was scheduled, why couldn't they give us more notice so we would not be inconvenienced? On our 2rd night, we were advised our water would be shut off the next day for 6 hours for 'emergency scheduled' maintenance. ![]() This was a total waste of money since the windows are SO dirty and caked with dirt spots that we couldn't get one clear picture. Additionally, we paid for an upgraded room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Rather than having a plate to show our room number, we had what appeared to be a piece of gum stuck to the wall with our number written on it. Issues with our rooms - damaged bathroom vanities, damaged doors, lamps hanging off the walls, no tile grout around the bathtub, wall paper peeling from the walls, scuff marks all over every wall, mold on the bathroom floors, no bed skirt, missing mini bar, the vent was caked with dust, there was some mysterious black substance on the shower door, yellow spots on the bathroom ceiling, dirty spots on the doors and mirrors, dirty sheets, dirty towels, broken bathroom mirror, and a used condom outside our room which stayed there for about 4-5 hours after we reported it. I would say our room and the one we changed to were both about 1.5 to 2 star rooms. The hotel rooms are run down, dirty and in drastic need of repairs. I was expecting a 4-star hotel with the Paris Hotel.
